VILLA FLOYD has welcomed "wonderful guests" from all around the
world... Our thanks to each of you for so many great YEARS.

Best of the Best! "This home is better than expected.
Very clean and very stocked with all you will need. Everything is in great shape inside and out. Rental process was very easy
and communication was very smooth. No waiting weeks for answers to questions. It's a very nice area to get away on a vacation.
House is very large and we had plenty to do in the area. Nice sound system inside the home for some vacation music to play
and get you in the mood. On a scale of 1-10 this is a definite 10." Terri & Mike Orlando, FL 2011

Everything you need and More!"We had a fabulous, stress free vacation
at Villa Floyd. Everything we needed was at the house. Don't even bother packing beach towels. The hot tub was relaxing, the
pool was refreshing and the neighborhood is quiet. We took a couple of trips on the boat and saw dolphins. So exciting for
the kids. We cooked out on the grill every night and ate on the patio by the pool. The screened in patio keeps all the bugs
away. It is a must have for a Florida vacation. Though we never went biking, there are bikes for your use too. Ft Meyers is
close and we took a walk at sunset on the beach and had ice cream at the Dairy Queen. We visited Siesta Key, a short one hour
drive away. We went to Sanibel on the boat and saw dolphins in the clear blue waters and then we also drove there and spent
the whole day on the island checking out different beaches and collecting shells. Fishing really isn't our thing, but we did
catch a few catfish right off the dock at the house. It was just a great relaxing vacation. Rich was very nice and helpful
from the time I first contacted him. We will definitely be going back again in the future."

Villa Floyd vacation
2011 "This is our 2nd year at the villa. We really enjoyed our stay for 2 months.
The weather was beautiful. In the 70's at the start and 90's when we left. We used the pool almost every day. We went to Sanibel
& Captiva islands several times and had lunch at the Green Flash (very good). We went to the "imaginarium" in
Ft Myers with our grandson. Lots of hands on things for the little ones to do. On our last morning we walked our dog to the
park down the street and saw a group of Manatees playing not far from the shore. That was very exciting. We also saw a large
tarpon in the canal. At the end of the street there is a family of borrowing owls. We had fun watching them prepare for their
babies and standing watch over their home. Most nights we just stayed at the Villa and grilled fish that we bought at the
Beach fish market. We had a lot of fun going in the boat and sightseeing in the canals. People are very friendly and wave
as you go by. We have come to feel very at home at the Villa. It was a very brutal winter back in Wisconsin and we were very
glad we didn't have to deal with it. Every time we talked to someone back home they sounded very tired of the snow and gloom.
We are looking forward to our stay again next year..."

Owners Exceed
In Making This Place A GREAT HOME "While making our annual trip to Cape Coral for baseball tournament at the Red Sox Field, we
rented several homes for our players and parents. This home was the only one of the rentals that did not have problems. No
green pool, refrigs that were not working or dirty sheets and air conditioning that didn't work at this location. Everything
was ready, clean and as promised. The home is on a canal with a boat and comes with a lesson with a Captain that even the
most seasoned boater will appreciate. Equipped with all the items to do some serious fishing, you will enjoy every minute
of this vacation home." Debbie

A great week "We stayed for a week in May and had a great time. The property was clean and well maintained as the boat was
also. We took the boat out for fishing and site seeing on several occasions. The house was perfect for our needs and would
be for any family. The owners were attentive and very easy to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone and will
also use it again myself."

Great vacation "Another
wonderful 2 weeks at Villa Floyd (this was our second stay here). This is a lovely place to stay. We recommend taking advantage
of the optional boat rental. It's great to go out fishing/sight seeing in the morning, returning to the villa mid afternoon
to then relax by the pool and enjoy the late afternoon sun. On an evening we tended to cook a meal at the villa and relax
poolside with a drink. What a life!!! Can also recommend a drive round the 'Ding' Darling preserve on Sanibel - it's worth
taking a rod and some bait to drop a line in near the culverts. And don't forget the camera to photograph all the birds, crabs
and other wildlife. Rich and Rebecca are wonderful hosts who do all they can to ensure you have a great vacation. Should you
have any problems they are only a phone call away. Hope to be back again next year for our 30th wedding anniversary."

"Dear Rich & Rebecca,We had a wonderful time in your beautiful house and it was
sooo hard for us to leave. As we arrived there, we immediately felt like at home! We sent you in a spearate email,
a picture of a nurse shark, caught at Sanibel from the breach - closse to the lighthouse, and a black tip, caught from the
boat. We can't wait to come back next year... We already count the days, and we just came back to Germany 4 days
ago! Again, thank you for everything you have done for us, and the great tip for our 1st anniversary.. Rumrunner's
!! Everything was perfect. Have a good time, talk with you soon." Marion & David APO / AE Germany 2009

"Hi there, Just
wanted to let you know we had a fabulous stay at your beautiful villa. This was by far the best trip to Florida we have
had so far, mainly due to the stay here, and the fact that we got married this time. We thank you for your hospitality
and hope to stay here again soon. I really do not want to go home......."Best regards,

"Dear Rich & Rebecca,
We are now back home in the UK after a wonderful two weeks at Villa Floyd.
The house immediately felt like home to us, and we were sorry to have to leave. Many thanks for letting us vacation
in your lovely home. The boat was definitely the ‘icing on the cake'. We had many enjoyable times out on
the water, fishing and sightseeing. Please see attached photos of two of the small Hammerheads we caught at Captiva
Pass. The first photo is one of five or six caught by Phil and the second photo is one Geoff caught.
We had such a great time that if it's ok with you, we would like to book Villa Floyd for next year's vacation.
We are thinking the first two weeks of April (1st - 15th) if available. How is this with you?
Thanks and Regards,
Geoff

"We
are nearing the end of our vacation here. The Villa is just wonderful and the pictures posted on this website do not do this
beautiful Villa any justice. Everything here is just bigger, better, prettier and cozier than the pictures could ever portray.
The view from any place in this villa is just beautiful. Everything here has just exceeded our expectations including the
hospitality extended to us by the Floyds. This is the PERFECT place for a family vacation and the layout of the villa is also
perfect for a family and allows privacy and a place for everyone to escape. Every bedroom has a TV, which our teens thoroughly
enjoyed and the dock area was perfect for them to text their friends, listen to their ipods, read and just "chill".
The pool area allowed us to spend quality time with each other while dining, swimming, playing board games. We rarely ate
out because the kitchen and grill area was perfect and stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare a perfect
meal including the spice cabinet (just a perfect finishing touch for someone like me that loves to cook). The villa is also
conveniently located to everything. Just perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more. We can't wait to return for our next vacation,
hopefully this summer. This is by far one of the nicest homes we have spent our vacation at and we would highly recommend
to anyone that they spend their vacation at Villa Floyd." Linda Grisafi & Family Barto, PA 2008

"We
spent a glorious week at Villa Floyd last summer. From the moment we opened the door to the panoramic canal view, we knew
it was a good choice. Our hosts were wonderful, Rich called to make sure we had arrived safely and if there was anything we
needed. Well, there was nothing we did need; it was all first class. We took advantage of the optional boat rental, what a
great deal that was. We took daily boat trips will our children, anchored at Sanibel and Captiva. Got to navigate the waterway
fairly well once we figured out the markers, they really are there for a reason :) The villa was lovely, no need to eat out
as the kitchen was fully equipped and we had waterside dining every night. Would love to go back some day, thanks so much."

_________________________________________________________________________________________________ "We own our own Home Based Business
and get to travel A LOT, just returning from a cruise to Alaska. Some of our very good clients are in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral
area so we travel a lot there also. We decided at the last minute, on New Years Eve 2005 to book a business trip to Cape Coral
in the first few weeks of January 2006. I went to the Vacation Rentals by Owner website and just started e-mailing everyone
with a house for rent. We received TONS of replies, but we are SO GLAD that we felt led to go with Villa Floyd! We returned to Villa Floyd again
for another visit in June. It
was a magnificent way to work from home those weeks. They had high speed internet, so we hooked up the laptop, opened the
sliding glass doors overlooking the pool and the canal. I made my calls from the pool itself as I floated around or sat in
the hot tub! It was a beautiful way to do our business and enjoy ourselves. Rich Floyd was an awesome man to deal with and
the house itself.....Well let me just say this: We win lots of trips around the world but I never felt more at peace than
at Villa Floyd! It truly was a wonderful experience and I will definitely call on it again." Ron & Maddie Dodson Meadville, PA 2006

"Aloha, This is Glen and
Kendra from Philadelphia, PA. We stayed at Villa Floyd from Apr 1 -8, 2006. We have to say it was one of the best vacations
we've ever had. We don't have tons of restaurant recommendations simply because we liked coming back to the house in the evenings
and then grilling our dinner poolside. We had several very nice boat trips. Once you get partway up through Pine Island Sound,
with Sanibel and Captiva on the port side, the water gets nice and clear and we would just find a nice little spot off the
main channel a little ways, drop the anchor and spend the day fishing and swimming. We did the same in the river one day.
We left the main channel and anchored in about 6ft of water and relaxed with the fishing poles in the water. Next thing you
know the reel was screaming and letting line out as if we had hooked a passing boat. 20 minutes later, it turned out to be
a 38" Cobia that was not only one of the largest fish I've ever caught, but also one of the tastiest. My advice to anyone
doing any fishing is to use the aerator and bucket and get live shrimp, the live bait will make a huge difference. We caught
catfish right off the dock with these as well. Another highlight for us was seeing the family of river otters that would come
in and swim right next to the dock around sunset, we saw them a few times down there. There are also Blue Crabs in the canal,
we caught a few but I let them go because Kendra felt bad for them so we ended up buying some on Pine Island that we cooked.
Figure that one out. Another great trip we took by car was to Sanibel and the ‘Ding' Preserve there. I would really
recommend that to anyone who loves nature, you can just pull off the road in the mangroves and look into the water and see
Horseshoe crabs, Blue Crabs, all kinds of fish, alligators and birds in amazing numbers. There's a kayak trip you can take
on the water that looked amazing but we ran out of time. Finally, the house itself was beautiful, very clean, and had all
the amenities we could ask for. We were in the Hot Tub every night and would have stayed a month if that had been possible.
Rich Floyd, the owner, was in contact with us and answered all our questions and helped us get settled in. As descriptive
as the web site is, you still rent a house somewhat in the blind but the only surprises we had at Villa Floyd were good ones,
like how nice the house really was. I remember before our trip how I wished there was an online forum to see."
